  1. 1.) Does the essay make a clear argument?Yes-drugs need to be legalized for various reasons.

.) Find on sentence that you think best describes the thesis of the blog essay. Government policy and federal charges are not doing the job, thus, leading to the consensus of many Americans these days. It’s time to legalize drugs.

.) Does the article clearly identify a problem so that the reader understands who was involved, what happened, where it happened, when and why? Yes, right off the bat the author explains that this problem has been occurring for awhile now, sense the era of President Nixon and presents great facts as to how it has been affecting society.

.) Does the article provide plenty of level-1 abstractions to support their argument? Many, I can clearly tell that the author has done their research because the paper flows very well. Also there are a ton of great facts to back up very credible arguments made by the author. I really enjoyed how easy this essay was to read.

.) Are there any images or video in the essay? If so, are the significances of all videos and images clearly explained in the essay? The very first video presented in the article was very interesting as well as all of the graphs used throughout.

.) Are their any claims in the essay that you are skeptical of? Not really, I felt as if all of the arguments were clear and then they had facts to back them up, this essay was greatly researched.

.) Are the aspects of the essay that you found to be very interesting or effective? The most interesting part of this essay to me was the introduction and conclusion. These are the two parts of the essay that draw you in then lead you back out and I remembered these the most. The introduction was loaded with important facts while the conclusion left me thinking with a quote.
